【摘要】:1.1ThisspecificationcoversPBExteriorInsulationandFinishSystems(EIFS)definedasanexterior,non-bearingwallcoveringprovidingaweather-resistantexteriorwallenvelopeonwallsrequiredtobecombustibleornoncombustible,fire-resistance-ratedornonfire-resistance-rated.Further,PBEIFSisasystemdescribedasbeingappliedoverexpandedpolystyreneorpolyisocyanurateinsulationboard,anadhesiveormechanicalattachmentoftheinsulationboardtoasubstrate,orboth,glassfiberreinforcingmesh,abasecoatonthefaceoftheinsulationboard,andatexturedprotectivefinishcoat.1.2ThisspecificationdoesnotcoverClassPBEIFSwithdrainage.1.3ThisspecificationqualifiesEIFSproductsforuseinnormalserviceconditionsandisnotforevaluatinginserviceEIFSinstallations.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
