【摘要】:Thisguideisintendedtoencourageconsistencyandthoroughnessintheapplicationofkrigingmethodstoenvironmental,geotechnical,andhydrogeologicalsiteinvestigations.Thisguidemaybeusedtoassistthoseperformingakrigingstudyorasanexplanationofproceduresforqualifiednonparticipantsthatmaybereviewingorauditingthestudy.Thisguideencouragestheuseofsite-specificinformationfortheselectionofanappropriatekrigingmethod;however,thequalityofdata,thesamplingdensity,andsitecoveragecannotbeimprovedorcompensatedbyanychoiceofkrigingmethod.Thisguidedescribesconditionsforwhichkrigingorparticularkrigingmethodsarerecommended.However,thesemethodsarenotnecessarilyinappropriateifthestatedconditionsarenotencountered.ThisguideshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithGuidesD5549,D5922,andD5924.1.1Thisguidecoversrecommendationsforselectingappropriatekrigingmethodsbasedonstudyobjectives,exploratorydataanalysis,andanalysisofspatialvariation.1.2Thisguideconsiderscommonlyusedformsofkriging,includingordinarykriging,simplekriging,lognormalkriging,universalkriging,andindicatorkriging.Multivariate,space-time,andotherless-frequentlyusedkrigingmethodsarenotdiscussed;however,thisisnotintendedtoreflectanyjudgementastothevalidityofthesemethods.1.3Thisguidedescribesconditionsforwhichkrigingmethodsarenotappropriateandforwhichgeostatisticalsimulationsapproachesshouldbeused.1.4Thisguidedoesnotdiscussnon-geostatisticalalternativestokriging,suchassplinesorinverse-distancetechniques.1.5Thisguidedoesnotdiscussthebasicprinciplesofkriging.IntroductionstogeostatisticsandkrigingmaybefoundinnumeroustextsincludingRefs(1-3).AreviewofkrigingmethodsisgiveninRef.(4).1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.7Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Thewordx201C;Standardx201D;inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
