【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestestmethodsforthedeterminationoftheoverallmigrationintofattyfoodsimulantsfromplasticsmaterialsandarticles,bytotalimmersionoftestspecimensinafattyfoodsimulantattemperaturesfrom100°Cuptoandincluding,175°Cforselectedtimes.Alsodescribedisaprocedurewithasubstitutetestmedium.Inthissubstituteprocedurethemassofcomponentsadsorbedonmodifiedpolyphenyleneoxide(MPPO)istakenasameasurefortheassessmentoftheoverallmigrationintooliveoil.NOTE1Thetotalimmersiontestmethodhasbeenwrittenforusewiththefattyfoodsimulant,oliveoil.Thetestmethodcanalsobeusedwithappropriatemodificationswith'otherfattyfoodsimulants'calledsimulantD-asyntheticmixtureoftriglycerides,sunfloweroilandcornoil.Theseotherfattyfoodsimulantsproducedifferentchromatogramsforthesimulantmethylesterstothoseofthemethylestersofoliveoil.Suitablechromatogrampeaksofthemethylestersoftheotherfattyfoodsimulantsshouldbeselectedforthequantitativedeterminationofthesimulantextractedfromthetestspecimens.NOTE2Acomparativemigrationtestcarriedoutwithpolypropyleneandpolyethyleneterephthalatehightemperatureapplicationcontainersastestsamplesatconditions2hat100°Cand2hat175°C,respectively,incontactwith14C-labelledsynthetictriglycerideandMPPOprovidedtestresultscomparablewithintheanalyticaltoleranceofthemethods.NOTE3ToobtainreproducibleandrepeatableresultsusingtheMPPOmethoditmaybenecessarytomeasurethetemperatureofthetestspecimenbeforestartingthemigrationperiod.Anappropriatemethodformeasuringthetemperatureofthetestspecimenneedstobeestablished.Thedescribedmethodsaremostsuitableforfoodcontactarticlesintheformofsheetsandfilms,butcanalsobeappliedtoawiderangeofarticlesandcontainers.
