【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationestablishesrequirementsforseamlessredbrass(CopperAlloyUNSNo.C23000)pipeinnominalpipesizes,bothregularandextra-strong.Intheannealedtemper(O61),thepipeissuitableforuseinplumbing,boilerfeedlines,andforsimilarpurposes.Inthedrawngeneralpurposetemper(H58),thepipeissuitableforarchitecturalapplications,suchasguardrailingsandstairhandrailings.1.2Units8212;Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thefollowinghazardcaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section9.1.1,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Warningx2014;MercuryhasbeendesignatedbyEPAandmanystateagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidney,andliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercury-containingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPAx2019;swebsite(http://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htm)foradditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercuryormercury-containingproducts,orboth,inyourstatemaybeprohibitedbystatelaw.(See9.2.)
