【摘要】:1.1ThisEuropeanStandardcoversportableand/orhand-guidedmachinesandappliancesequippedwithmechanicallydrivencuttingtools.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthedesignandmanufactureofportableand/orhandguidedmachinesandappliancesequippedwithelectrically,hydraulicallyorpneumaticallydrivencuttingtools(seeFigures1to9),hereinafterreferredtoas“machines”.ThemachinescoveredbythisEuropeanStandardareusedforslaughteringanimals,forcuttingupanimalcarcasses,poultryandotherfoodstuffsuchase.g.fish.Theyaremainlyintendedforuseinslaughterhousesandrooms,whichareusedforcuttingandpreparing.Thesemachinesareusedfortheindustryandtrade.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttomachines,appliancesandmachinery,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeClause4).ThisEuropeanStandarddealswiththehazardswhichcanariseduringcommissioning,operation,maintenanceandde-commissioningofthemachine.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletoportableand/orhand-guidedmachinesandappliancesequippedwithelectrically,hydraulicallyorpneumaticallydrivencuttingtools,whicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisEuropeanStandardbyCEN.1.2ThisEuropeanStandardcoversthefollowingmachinessubdividedintotooltypes:1.2.1Saws(seeFigures1to5)?Circularsaws(seeFigures1and2);?straightbladereciprocatingsaws(seeFigures3and4);?bandsaws(seeFigure5).1.2.2Shears,pincers(seeFigures6and7)1.2.3Knives(seeFigures8and9)?Ring-bladecircularknives;?circularkniveswithsimpleordoubleblade;?reciprocatingkniveswithoneortwostraightblades;?rotatingknives.LicensedCopy:WangBin,na,ThuMar0903:23:12GMT2006,UncontrolledCopy,(c)BSIcylinderwithinthehousing,oramotorwhichdrivesthetoolviaaflexibledrivecable,thetoolbeinghand-heldattheplaceofuseorbeinghand-guidedonamovabledevice.Themotorordrivecancompriseelectrical,hydraulicorpneumaticcomponents.Forweightbalancing,asuspensionunitwithatensioningspringoracounter-balancercanmaketheworkeasierfortheoperator.ThisequipmentisnotcoveredbythisEuropeanStandard.1.3IntendedusePortableand/orhand-guidedmachinesareusedonsuspendedorlying,stunnedandblood-drainedanimalsforcuttingofflegs,feetandhorns,forcuttingoutanuses,forskinning,foropeningthesternum,forhalving,quarteringorfurthercuttingcarcassesandforremovingfat.Althoughitshouldbeadvisedagainst,thisEuropeanStandard,takingintoaccountpractice,dealswiththehazardsduetocleaningwithpressurisedwater.WiththeaimofclarifyingtheintentionsofthisEuropeanStandardandavoidingdoubtswhenreadingit,thefollowingassumptionsweremadeforoperation:?onlydesignatedandinstructedpersonsoperatethemachine,?placeofuseisadequatelylit,andtheequipmentwillbeusedinanenvironmentwithhygienehazardsbutwithoutotherspecialhazards.
